Start with the paperwork and layout
Choose the pool position and draw the shell, equipment area, barrier, gate and delivery route together. Arrange the applicable approval pathway and required inspections before construction. We can advise accordingly upon purchase.
In NSW, eligible proposals may use a CDC through a suitably registered independent certifier or council. Eligibility depends on the property and proposal. Do not treat above-ground or relocatable construction as automatic exemption.
Get the foundation ready
The pool needs continuous, flat, level support across its floor and perimeter. Use the foundation detail supplied for your model and ground conditions. A properly constructed granular base can be an alternative to concrete on suitable sites.
Remove soft pockets and organic material, compact in controlled layers and retain granular edges. Divert surrounding runoff without sloping the pool bearing surface. Photograph the base and complete any inspection required before placement.
Organise placement and connections
Agree unloading and handling with the carrier. Position the empty shell with its fittings facing the planned equipment routes, then check the full base contact and level before filling.
Follow the plumbing and fitting instructions for the supplied components. Use the correct adhesive for each material, keep service unions accessible and support the pipework so it does not load the shell fittings. Arrange licensed electrical work; our guides are not electrical wiring instructions.
Finish with a documented handover
Complete barriers and the inspection sequence, check for leaks during the initial fill and commission the pump, filter, UV and any selected upgrades. Use the operating waterline in the supplied instructions.
Record model and serial numbers, operating checks and water-test results. Keep the manuals, certificates and warranty documents together. Our illustrated first-fill checklist provides a printable record.
